About half a year ago i was looking for a new job and found an add in the paper for a manufacturing job that paid 17$ an hour, I apply and get an interview only to find out that it starts at 14$ an hour and then goes up 17$ after your 90 day trial period. It felt very deceiving as they never mentioned anything about about a trial period in the add, I would have had to take a few dollars pay cut for three months just get a job that paid less 1$ an hour than I currently made, I see them posting for these jobs every month, wonder why they cant fill the position.
