Just tried to start a conversation with the owner of the business I am currently working for about getting a cost of living increase. He's only at the location I work at occasionally (a plus) but as he was in my area today I said “so you're not into giving cost of living increases are you?” He almost ran into the office as soon as he understood what I was getting at saying as he fled “everybody's getting squeezed.” Then avoided me and left as soon as possible. Its been two years without a pay bump for me. I swear to you I have never seen anyone tuck tail and run any quicker. Big conservative man. To chicken to engage. What a punk ass bitch.
