I currently work four days a week at a job that pays $19/hr but I was thinking about getting any job just for the summer to rack in another $1k+/month on top of the $2k/month I already bring in just until the semester starts in September.
Since I'm already bringing money in I have the confidence to walk into interviews and tell employers what I want and walk out if I don't get it. I want something at least $15/hr so I can easily afford to quit and work part time while in school at my main job and pay for community college. It may sound entitled but with inflation getting higher I can not go back to minimum wage, especially since I'm worth more now.
Any tips?
