I have been on FMLA maternity leave since early May so my 6 weeks of leave is nearly done per policy my company has us inform HR of our return to work at least a week prior to returning. Well I call today and found out that not only had my manager failed to place me on leave in the system I was supposed to be paid during my leave. I spoke with the HR representative and they received my paperwork but couldn't start my claim until my manager placed me on leave officially. So I have technically been absent from work for 6 weeks No Call, No Show without being terminated….
