How to protect yourself by recording calls?

I find that quite often it is the case that one will receive a call at work either over the phone/Teams/Webex, and something nasty will be said on that call towards oneself. The nasty thing may be an unreasonable or illegal request, a form of harassment, hostilities, or even incorrect information that you may rely on. Not if, but when things turn sour, I want to be in control and have an audio recording that I can transcribe to protect my legal interests. I was wondering what options other Redditors use? I've looked into a few options, and found it's hard to find something suitable? Was hoping to find a Bluetooth recording bridge where I can record via Bluetooth and then transmit the result to a headset via Bluetooth. I've looked into a few options, and found it's hard to find something suitable? Was hoping to find a Bluetooth recording bridge where I can record via Bluetooth and then transmit the result to a headset via Bluetooth. The reasons for this are:

  • High quality/Lossless audio recording without 3.5mm line noise.
  • Able to use this with mobile phone or laptop without admin rights.
  • Discrete. No need to justify your right to protect your legal interests.
