Boss called me into the office to ask how I’m doing. But I’m so brain broken by past jobs I thought she was going to reprimand me

It was really nice and she was just checking in on me since I just started (seeing also if I could handle a bit more work, no biggie for me). But I’ve worked in sooo many industries where the boss doesn’t care or never speaks to you until they want to yell at you (looking real hard at you minimum wage jobs).
