I just started a new part time job and the actual work is fine. However I'm starting to find some red flags and I'm not sure what to do.
1 – They keep scheduling me 5-6 days per week. I do not want full time hours. My job contract is supposed to be part time (30hrs) as I'm studying.
2 – They use paper work schedules while the rest of the company (7k employees) uses computer scheduling?? Like why?? Bizarre.
3 – The manager will change your shift the day before sometimes. Even the full timers have to double check their schedule daily bc it can be changed last second.
Basically I just started this job and now I have to discuss with the manager I don't want all these full time hours they're giving me…I'm nervous. What do I even say?
