Have you ever had a job that had really stupid rules that made your head spin? What were they?

I had a job once, that when a customer thanked you or whatever, you could NOT respond with “You're welcome”, “No problem”, “Of course”, ” Anytime”, “No worries”, nothing. It was absolutely mandatory to respond with “Happy to help” It felt like a fucking cult. The manager would ride your ass if you didnt say it. Plus they pulled all that “we're family” bullshit.
