Today, the construction company I work for held a mandatory lunch for all 300 employees and told me to make sure all my guys be there because it would be important. Usually all that means is a new job requirement or some sort of announcement likely to piss people off. Instead every employee received a $100 Walmart gift card and a $25 Amazon gift card, a lunch catered by a local bbq place and then a raffle for all sorts of nice expensive items and every employee recieved an item. The president of the company made a speech thanking every one for hard work and sent everybody home after lunch with a full days pay. I received the invoices to code for all the catering and items given away today totaling a cost of $44,800 given back to the employees, I’m proud of my company today
