According to my boss, me being off sick for one day with heat exhaustion was totally avoidable

What do I even say to this. There’s a Return to Work interview waiting for me on Monday with my manager and I want to be prepared. I called in sick yesterday due to having heat exhaustion. Two years ago I was hospitalised for the same thing so I’m not about to mess with it. I was told by 111 (UK non-emergency line) to go to A&E but I ended up staying home and taking lots of cold showers to get my body temp under control. Came in to work today still feeling like absolute dog shit, my tiny flat was boiling hot so barely slept in two days, texted my boss letting her know I’m in today but I’m still unwell. Her reply was “sorry to hear you’re still not well, what a shame as it was avoidable.” I’m sorry which part was avoidable? What more could I have…

I’m sorry which part was avoidable? What more could I have done, turn the sun off? Move my windows so sun doesn’t hit my flat directly for 8hrs a day? Magically make my body more tolerant to heat?

I just know that sitting down for the RTW interview they are going to blame me for being sick and tell me there’s more I could’ve done to avoid this happening so I want to be prepared, please any advice or tips on what to say are welcome

All RTW’s they do are very intrusive, asking for every detail of what happened, who did we call, what medicine did we take, what are the side effects, how did we feel etc to make you feel as uncomfortable as possible and discourage people from calling in sick. This is why I am trying to be prepared, any advice is appreciated.
