I have not received my weekend pay for some weeks now because my boss “forgot” to adjust my schedule. Since I am paycheck to paycheck, this amount means a lot to me.
2.5. I'm an idiot and haven't been keeping a strict log of my own keeping prior to the beginning of this month because I've been naive and trusting. Am I still able to lodge a complaint if I lack complete evidence?
Side note: I've lost many days of wages over time because my lunch breaks were scheduled incorrectly on days i left early. I didn't complain because I was so new to the company and didn't want to be retaliated against. Since i let that slide, am I still eligible to battle this now?
- Overall this boss has been incompetent since she was promoted a few months ago. She's lied about my numbers (I'm due for a raise and worry I won't get it because of this), she hasn't fixed my schedule in so long, she's told me to do things I would NEVER put my name on, etc. At what point would I complain to her boss? Or do I just need to suck it up and keep job searching? I love my job. I hate my boss. I've also asked questions and NEVER HEAR BACK. If I want an answer I either have to go over her head and ask her boss or snoop around and find out myself.
