I applied for a job, took time out of my day to go to multiple interviews. Was told I got the job. Filled out the paperwork (7 packets of questions). Got fingerprinted (I have no criminal record) and paid $70 for it. Then I message the hiring manager about when I start (unpaid) training. No answer. Messaged the interviewer. He said he’ll ask his boss. Never gets back to me.
I spent hours of my time and assumed I was hired (because I was told so) not applying for other jobs. And I spent money. Now they ghosted me.
Why are people allowed to waste each other’s time with reckless abandon? I want my time and money back I wasted on this.
