This is an update from part-1
I will ask those who are curious not to ask me for social media links to our band as, like I indicated in the original thread, I am not using these threads to advertise our music, this is just to give an update on this absolute shit-show.
We were invited about two weeks ago, to an amazing opportunity to showcase two of our songs in a very famous repurposed church in downtown Montreal. The show was with a full string orchestra and it's the kind of thing you don't pass on.
I made an Instagram story for those who wanted to attend and several ex-coworkers did, we had a ball and it was fun to catch up with old buddies.
As I have decided to report my ex-employer for abusing the government stipend that Canadian companies could use to cover employee costs during the shutdown, they are now being audited for that practice. This has caused a lot of stress internally for higher ups.
The manager in question, of course, is still employed by them and decided this Monday morning to inform employees who tagged our band or me personally that he is 'astounded' that they are still associating with ex-employees who could 'potentially' be working for competitors (he is using the fact that one of my band members who never worked for them, actually works for our competitors) creates a 'dangerous precedent' that will require 'additional vigilance and potential terminations' going forward, I shit you not …
DANGEROUS PRECEDENTS … LOL, ESPECIALLY KNOWING THE CONTEXT OF THE FIRST THREAD
The employees in question of course removed all tags and are laughing the whole thing off. I am at loss for words.
