Very few jobs have the position’s wage listed, and if they do, it’s usually not accurate. I’m tired of going into interviews and referencing the job listing when asked how much pay I’m looking for, just for them to go “well actually..” and say it includes tips. That’s NOT what hourly means and that number is not guaranteed. It’s such a waste of time and I don’t know how they’re allowed to do this. Why would I want to work for someone who lied to me before I even stepped in the door?
