I just got a call from a recruiter. The job sounded good, exactly what I am doing now but two days in the office. Im currently 100% remote.
Then that dreaded question came up. “How much are you looking to make?” I told him no less than 90,000 USD. He told me that was out of this companies price range and sorry.
I then asked him how much they were looking to pay and he responded their top was 65,000. I told him I'm already making more and most of the other similar jobs in the area are starting at 80,000 and going to 150,000.
What a waste of my time.
