It really makes me crazy.
I work in a bank with about 150k employees.
When I got hired, I signed a contract saying I would follow the rules of the bank. The problem is the rules get updated every 6 months and every time there are more crazy limitations.
First of all we must have our bank account in this bank, we can't use other banks.
Obviously, they totally violate our privacy because they can see every transaction we made, and it happened that I got called and had to explain why I spent my money for something (for example purchases from abroad)
They also forbid us to trade in stocks or anything similar. Recently I bought some Bitcoin and they told me it's forbidden and said I must sold them. I said crypto are not stocks, so they simply updated the company rules and added that crypto are forbidden.
Also, the rules say that we must have no criminal records. That's fine for me, but the updated rules say that even if you got reported for any criminal activity, you will lose your job even before the trial where the judge will declare you guilty or innocent. Basically, if tomorrow someone reports me for a crime I never committed, I immediately lose my job.
I tried to complain to some colleagues but nobody cares. Most of them are over 50-60 and they simply joke about it. They say they have nothing to hide and they don't care about crypto or trading, so they're fine with it.
Hr basically told me that I signed that contract so I can do nothing about it. They even joke about it and say that if tomorrow the rules get updated and say that I should go to work wearing a swimsuit, I must obey.
Right now for personal reasons I can't change job and this situation is making me crazy, there are also other problems but I've already written too much. Basically this bank is a big scam.
I'm sure this contract is illegal but every one is telling me I'm wrong.
