Tired of being undervalued.

I have been working since I was 12 y/o. All service industries. Mostly food and bev. Have tons of experience in both FOH and BOH, in high end dining. Managed my own Starbucks for a year, then I moved back to Atlanta, GA. Starbucks wouldn’t even make me a shift lead when I tried to transfer. Picked up a few beat ass jobs since to tide me over. Never compensated for my value, skills, knowledge, etc. I am tired of it. Everyone in my family is set financially. I’m just lazy apparently. I literally wake up at 8 everyday and walk around the city looking for anything, just to be told I’m lazy. Everyone is like why will nobody work, apparently I’m nobody. Super frustrating. My parents are slowly taking the things I worked for and paid for myself away from me, because I don’t deserve them if I’m not…

My parents are slowly taking the things I worked for and paid for myself away from me, because I don’t deserve them if I’m not working. I show them all the documentation and they still belittle me. “It can’t be that hard to find a job”. Well it is. Probably my fault for not seeking higher education. I have certs in all sort of fields too. Full stack certs. 2 ASE certs. ServSafe. The list goes on. Am I wrong for not just taking the first burger flipping, fry shuffling gig out there? Idk what to do anymore. It’s becoming increasingly apparent companies actually don’t want to hire, they’d rather pay a skeleton crew the bare minimum, and pretend to be looking for more help.
