This is purely hypothetical and my personal opinion. But as someone who was born in Africa but has lived in the USA, the terrible work conditions + laws are not that bad compared to terrible and corrupt governments in Africa. I know of immigrants there who think that Americans have it good. But IMO, it’s sort of Stockholm syndrome. Because no human being should have anyone make choices for their body as well as pay them shit for their labour. As things stand, Americans think it’s hell in their country (which, if we are being honest IT IS) but immigrants who would sell their kidneys to come work in USA for minimum wage don’t think those are bad conditions. What’s worse is the conservatives who are anti immigrants are the ones making USA hard and tough for AMERICANS. It just doesn’t make sense. Anyway…. As earth’s big brother, I hope y’all get your shit together.
