Is This Disrespect?

Background Info: I would say I am a pretty good team player, ive covered shifts, worked holidays, and taken on some pretty tough hours (while management took its sweet time to properly staff us) I only make about 14hr So I decide to use a PTO day because… well, I want to, and it will be the 4th of july weekend. I call the manager and let them know I want off. Instead of him saying something like “ok gotcha, lemme get back to you shortly” he rudely asks why I cant come to work. I say I have PTO and would like to use it. He rudely says “ill get back to you but its not a yes” So far no lines have been crossed but I am feeling pretty slighted.. I try not to take things personally but its been bothering me… Ill keep you all posted on…

So far no lines have been crossed but I am feeling pretty slighted.. I try not to take things personally but its been bothering me… Ill keep you all posted on what happens. I wouldnt even mind if it doesnt get approved, as I will just ask for the next available day, but if its not approved after the way our conversation went… thats gonna urk me. And thats when people start having thoughts of quitting without warning…

Lemme know your thoughts.
