I got tenure recently and was told by every single member of staff (and managers) that once I get tenure my pay will increase significantly. My boss said I have done an amazing job and am a very valued employee. However, when asking for a pay rise, my boss is ignoring me. Simply will not respond and is blanking my emails.
I can't really afford to leave, but I also can't afford this wage. It is so so low. But I can't drive, so it's hard for me to get another job. I don't really know what to do. I've asked my boss so many times for a pay raise.
