Just needed to share this because I’m in disbelief. My partner is more on the fence about all this stuff and would be livid if I quit my job, so I decided to stay. We need the money for the house we just bought. But my full support goes to everyone fighting & I plan to protest.
Anyway, I was shocked going in today for work seeing that 3 people weren’t there today. That’s just at 1 store I do merchandising at.
The best part is 1 other merchandiser who was on schedule to work a very busy 4th of July week quit today. They desperately need someone to cover 1 whole area. A manager was forced to cover their shift.
I’m so so tempted to quit but my partner probably wouldn’t speak to me for a while. I’m not sure how I would explain it either when I find a new job.
Anyone else experiencing this today too? I’m shocked but very satisfied.
