I finally resigned from my toxic AF workplace

I had been working at the same place for about three years. It was good in the beginning, but slowly got worse over time. The company was bought out by a huge corporation, and things got worse and worse. The company used to send me birthday cards in the mail, and was family-owned for over 100 years. I resigned and I feel so free. I’m going to take some time off and not work for a while and just enjoy life. While I was working, that seemed like my whole world. But now that I’m not there anymore, I see that it’s all an illusion, and that there is so much to life outside of work.
