I haven’t been feeling good since Friday. I had to leave early and called in Saturday. I returned on Sunday and surprisingly felt normal. Scheduled today, I show up at 5 then at 6:15 I started feeling dizzy and drunk (completely sober). Something was way off and I didn’t feel comfortable driving(delivery driver). I told myself ok your going to the hospital. I tell the manager and she reply’s with ‘you need to find a replacement’. I was in complete shock. Im sitting here fucking dizzy telling you im going to the hospital.
I don’t have any other drivers numbers. I was scheduled 5-10 tonight.
I just racked up a large medical bill (no insurance as it’s a temporary minimum wage job) to find out I was dehydrated or so they claim.
If you are a manager do not tell your employees to find a replacement if they are feeling ill.
