You can still have the rug pulled from you regardless if everything is going well. If your department goes you're likely gone. Your manager can get fired, retire or even switch departments if the company needs them somewhere else. The fact there are a lot of variables that are needed to keep an employee happy can turn people off. Look for those people that are calling us lazy or babies we just want to fucking be treated fairly and get paid enough to live. That's it!
