i have been overworked and underpaid in my job. so 3 days back i asked my department head and HR manager for raise and after 2 days of leave when i returned to work there has been circulating rumors from my colleagues that i have already resigned and HR have already decided my replacement. I just asked for raise and they are already planning to fire me. But i have decided to wait till my appraisal this month and resign thereafter(whatever the appraisal).
Edit : and the worst part is I declined an offer from another company to stay in this company.
