I was on jury duty and a job came up that I normally do. Someone else with the knowledge to do it was tasked with doing it instead. I called them after my jury duty and they told me it’s all done. I called all three relevant stakeholders . None answered. I then emailed them telling them it had been done. No replies. I sent out a document saying it had been completed, no complaints. I tried to catch one when she was in the office “ I’m too busy” .
Today I get an angry stakeholder ( who ignored two emails a call and when I tried to speak face to face ) shouting at me saying it was done without her permission. The change wasn’t enacted and now I’m going to get shit from the company.
Why do I even bother?
