A Few Questions for The Community

I do not agree with everything or even most things on this sub but I do find it interesting. I would love to hear some feedback on things I haven't really been able to get just responding to comments here and there. This is a genuine interest with no intend to mock, troll or anything like that. Thanks in advance for the feedback. What do you feel an employee working at a McDonald's register should make? How about Starbucks? Does the establishment matter? I see people reference the increase in productivity not being inline with the increase in pay. I work as a Controls Engineer (industrial automation and logistics), how much of the increase do you feel comes from labor force vs technology?
