A final middle finger

Gave in my notice once upon a time at my first job after deciding I’d rather live on the streets than work a day more at where I was. Here it is: Dear Sirs, Please accept this letter as a notice of resignation on my position as a Graduate Java Developer. I feel obligated to explain my decision in hopes that it sparks positive change for the colleagues that I’m leaving behind. This decision was primarily concluded due to the lack of training & support provided amongst employees. Dear Sirs,

Please accept this letter as a notice of resignation on my position as a Graduate Java Developer. I feel obligated to explain my decision in hopes that it sparks positive change for the colleagues that I’m leaving behind. This decision was primarily concluded due to the lack of training & support provided amongst employees. When in need of assistance, I have often felt within a hostile and intimidating environment, which has hindered my career growth and has made the learning curve of what’s already there even more difficult. Though I have discussed this situation with the plan to improve, I do not think significant changes can be made in this case so as to compel me to stay.
My last day of employment was initially put forward as the [removed date]. However, upon having a meeting with [removed name] I have been given the option to take garden leave, from today onwards, until the [removed date], and get paid as I usually would for undertaking my duties, and subsequently leave my duties from then onwards with my own decision.

I would like to thank the company for the opportunities given to myself.

Respectfully yours,

I had took all this pain mentally because of the belief that one should be in their job for at least a year plus. No. Nothing is more important than our health. We should stop stereotyping this. Your health and well-being is more important than anything else. I left without even securing a new position and was left jobless for months.

I am now on double the pay doing less than what I was doing for those assholes I used to work for. It took me only 2 years to leave. Wish I left so sooner. Please respect yourselves.
