I recently put in my notice at my retail job. What I didn’t know beforehand (due to a lack of communication from corporate) was that employees in my position would receive a hefty bonus if employed till the end of May.
My boss told me about this and offered to keep me on payroll, using some PTO I have with the company, so that I am technically employed till the end of May and am elgible to receive the bonus.
Shoutout to all the bosses who look out for and advocate for their employees.
