A network attack on my company’s RDP has potentially cost me a new job. I’m so fed up.

I can't believe this shit, fate is a right pain in the backside. For those who don't know, a remote desktop protocol (RDP) is something that companies use that allows you to work from home which you can install on your personal computer I had an interview over Microsoft teams, for a better position as someone who currently works as a GIS tecunician. I had an interview over Microsoft teams, for a better position as someone who currently works as a GIS tecunician. Mid way through my interview, Microsoft teams crashed and when I rejoin this I'm left without a webcam to use because it stops working. After that happened, for the rest of the interview the panel looked disinterested. I felt like I answered the questions correctly.

Of course after I finish, I look into it to discover that the attack was on my companies RDP that I use to work from home. Given the fact that this happened to someone who is supposed to be tech savvy looks incredibly embarrassing. So basically, my company has indirectly caused me to lose out on a really good work opportunity with much better pay and to escape a toxic work environment.

Fate, go fuck yourself.
