This is a professional level job. They told me people could take off anytime they want. I took off one day and when I returned they told me I could not take off unless someone covered my shift. I havent had a shift job since college. Even then the manager made sure the shift got covered.
So essentially the job not only lacks flexibility but you essentially cannot be off during the week.
This major lie has me upset. I am looking for another position but guess what….
Half of the staff do get to work when they want because new employees or senior employees have to cover their shift.
The newguy called in sick last week. Clearly will have to call in sick if I need time off.
Interviewers lie…be careful what you believe when interviewing for a job
