Antiwork

A seldomly addressed capitalist scheme.

I'm surprised I don't see realtor threads here more often. It's amazing that it typically costs 6% of the selling price to pay for realtors who do very little work in reality. A listing agent will probably expend less than 10 hours total on the sale and walk away with $9,000 on a $300,000 home. And somehow the brokerage deserves 50% of that as well. I tried offering 2% on my first house sold this way. Very few offers and the ones I did get every agent asked for 3% and clearly steered clients away when I said no. When I changed to 3% showings more than tripled. Such an unethical industry.
