I think one major issue society faces is where to get accurate information. We have large news organizations that mislead the public intentionally. Even with the ones that don't, you have to worry about incentive structure issues. A state owned organization has an incentive to serve as state propaganda.
A corporate organization would likely not advocate for or mention stories that would hurt their profit motive or increase corporate taxes.
I guess I'm wondering if there are any people in here who know a lot about different organizational decision making structures. Which ones do we think would work well for a media organization so that accurate information is incentivized?
