My boss honestly intimidates the hell out of me, and yet he constantly talks about treating me like family.
He gives me benefits that our other employee doesn't get, but he also complains about giving them to me and uses the fact that he gives them to me as leverage to keep me from talking about better conditions for me.
Just want advice for how I can get around that, just rules or tips on how to discuss better conditions without the benefits or how he treats other employees being brought up…
Really just anything that would help, whether it's a law, regulation, or general practice… I'm in Colorado if that helps
