So I work from home, have all of the rona. Today, I could not login to Windows to start my day. Talked to IT, TL:DR I can login to work related websites on my personal computer so we know my username and PW work, but Windows just isn't taking it. IT guy says he'll create a ticket and L2 will call me, maybe today and to sit tight.
Four hours of sitting on my personal laptop logged into work sites later, nothing
I call IT back and a new agent basically tells me I'm SOL. So I log out and play Cyberpunk.
I expect to get paid. Not PTO. Not an “excused absence”
Paid. For the full 8 hours. Hell, I'll take 4 but I wouldn't be super happy about it
