Being lurking for a while, so figured this might be the best place to ask about this matter.
I am a Systems Engineer working in the Greater Seattle area currently making $80k a year (base), plus health/dental, an ESOP plan, 401(k), and a holiday bonus (not always guaranteed but have gotten on since I have started). Started working with the company 6 years ago as a helpdesk technician and moved up from there.
Due to having to take care of a sick family member, I am now living paycheck to paycheck again. After looking around online, I have noticed other companies offering more for the same role.
I know this is never a fun conversation to have, but what items should I bring with me into the meeting?
