Obviously there's lots of posts like this but I'm pretty clueless and could use and any input is appreciated.
I'm not sure if this is considered discrimination or how to classify it.
Short version: employer threatened termination around vaccine mandates, I compiled but nothing happened to those that didn't comply.
Summary:
I work for local government. I'm Non union. In the fall our governor mandated all staff will be vaccinated against Covid or let go. I complied, which i wouldn't have done yet on my own but i feared for my job. The staff that never complied were made into a special teleworking unit and there are no repercussions, plus they get to telework. These are union represented job classes.
Is there anything to go on here? Is it a waste of my time to try to consult with a workplace discrimination lawyer? How do I find a good one, do they need to be local or just in my state?
TIA
