I work at a hospital. I have no PTO left and it is my understanding that FMLA takes time to process/approve. I was assaulted (strangled /concussion/black eye/ etc) by my ex husband on Friday evening which put me in the hospital. I still have a headache and am sore all over. I am expected to work my 12 hour shift on Monday because manager will not allow time off. Is there anything I can do or any advice on how to get additional time to heal?
