So my work have been very shady lately, they have a lot of policies in place in terms of not being allowed to forward emails or work documents in ways that go against the company interests, so my hands are pretty tied in that regard.
For some vague context, the company provides care for mental health patients in shared houses, the company rents the houses, the patients pay rent to stay there, and pay for care and whatnot.
I found out that the company rent houses from landlord in order to provide them to these patients.
And recently the landlord of one of those houses sent a notice that they were terminating the rent agreement with the company.
This was (which I know from the fact that I was the only one in the office when the landlord submitted the notice, and from phone conversations with her prior to the notice) due to the company not paying the rent on time, and the executives effectively dodging her communication. Which I fully understand, the call dodging isn't an isolated incident.
But what really takes the cake, is that the executives then asked me to print and send a letter they had written to the patients residing in that property.
Which stated that the landlord had given notice due to “property damage and unsatisfactory state of house during inspections”.
So effectively, the landlord has given notice due to being fed up with the antics of the execs, and the execs have chosen to cover their ass by blaming it on the patients they are supposed to be supporting.
They're telling these patients with esteem issues and paranoia and whatnot that they're losing their house and only have themselves to blame, when in reality it isn't their fault at all.
