I (35) have decided in 3 months to resign. My company requires 2.5 months notice (specialist they need to find a replacement in time). Honestly I am going to take the end of the year to relax, focus more in my second and third language and get on top of some house projects. In the New Year I will look for a position in my own time that fits me better.
I am burnt out and think I am going through a bit of a crisis. They keep adding more and more without and guidance and just expect you to pick up more management roles and know what to do without any training. Knowing I am leaving has been something to look forward to and helped a lot. It is a sinking ship there. But I don't feel comfortable giving that as my reason due to the work culture, my coworkers and management. They will pressure me to stay or slam me for not being 'enough'.
They are going to be asking what my new position and which company I am moving to. Is there something I can say that will keep it simple but them off my back? I have never resigned before.
