I've been considering quitting my day job, which I've essentially grown up in (been there 3.5 years, I'm 18), for a while now and since getting cut down from 23 hours per week to 6 recently (one shift), with zero communication things haven't exactly been fabulous and I've felt more compelled to leave. The icing on top though, was when I asked my boss today if he would care/be bothered if I quit, as I was considering it (wanted to give some sort of communication before just dropping it – casual so no 2 week notice necessary but I still value communication and feel it's polite to offer it) – he said no, not really… I'd just take your shift
Sigh
I'm not shitting on my job though, I've enjoyed working there, just communication is KEY… and they don't even know how to operate a lock 🤔
