I am someone who hates capitalism and the government but still strongly believe in taxing the rich and taxation as way to fight inequality but to me a wealth tax should not involve someone's primary residence nor how much cash they have as that would be 1) Really hard to fiscalize
2) An invasion of basic privacy 3) Not fair to those like 3 people who made their millions without exploitation aka through labor(I'm thinking tiktok stars and that one guy who climbed the corporate ladder into a director positions or shit)
What I do think should be taxed mainly in a wealth tax is stocks and any other real estate that not your primary home (I'm including yatches and private jets here)
Is this a conservative view? I'm I being a boot licking asshole?
