I have been teaching English online for a few months now. My girlfriend helped me find my first few students, around 8 students, and we share everything 50-50. She talks to the parents and schedules the classes for me, I plan the classes and teach the students.
I have been doing a good job so far and got recommended to a few other students and now two schools have contacted me.
I don't really mean that i am being scammed, but if i work a year like this, I'll only get half of the money i make, which is fine if she got me the student.
The students pay anywhere from 6 to 15 dollars an hour. So i make half of that. I'm too much of a pushover to tell her anything myself, but i feel like i should get more from the students that she didn't get me, the ones that i got recommended to or the ones the schools could provide me.
