When I started my current job in September of 2016, I made $12 an hour, which is what my boss started everybody at. Over the years, I've received raises here and there, and currently am making $20 an hour. I recently find out that my boss is now starting people at $18 an hour. Am I wrong for being upset about this? I've been working here for 6 years (doing a job that is entirely physical labor and outdoors) and I only make $2 an hour more than the new guys? Tell me how that's fair.
To clarify, I'm not upset at him starting guys at $18 an hour. I'm upset about the fact that after the amount of time I've put in at this job, getting raises basically every year, I only make $2 more an hour than the new guys (some of whom are absolutely useless).
