Am I throwing my coworker under the metaphorical bus here?

I’ve worked at my job for a year and 4 months now. It’s a pretty easy job but my boss is awful. I put up with it because the pay is good, and making tips is really convenient for the way I live my life (going grocery shopping every week etc.) My problem here is that about 8 months ago a new employee was hired (A) and we became pretty good friends. I was, I guess, the “favorite” in her eyes. She often told me that she felt like she was treated really differently than me. I personally didn’t understand why she felt that way, as I’m constantly being scheduled on my days off without being asked beforehand, talked down to by my boss when I’m just doing the job I was trained to do the way I was trained to do it, made to come in early every day…

My problem here is that about 8 months ago a new employee was hired (A) and we became pretty good friends. I was, I guess, the “favorite” in her eyes. She often told me that she felt like she was treated really differently than me. I personally didn’t understand why she felt that way, as I’m constantly being scheduled on my days off without being asked beforehand, talked down to by my boss when I’m just doing the job I was trained to do the way I was trained to do it, made to come in early every day because my boss knows I’m available, things like that.
Recently, my boss has become hyper critical of everything I do. It didn’t bother me much because, again, my boss isn’t a very good person and I expect it at this point. However, I got a raise a month ago and it was pretty exciting. I told my friend/coworker and she asked how much. I told her, ($1) and she said “oh. nice.” I was kind of put off but it didn’t really bother me, until on payday she was complaining to me about how her paystub said she was making a dollar less than she was supposed to. She told me they had paid her $16, which is how much I was making after my raise, and that it was supposed to be $17. This honestly felt like a slap in the face, so I asked another coworker, who has worked here for 3 years, how much they make. They had just gotten a raise the same day as me, putting them at $16 as well. Along with this, A has started acting the same as my boss. Hyper critical of my every move, asked to come in early when it’s not necessary just so she can go home early, etc., so it’s just been getting on my nerves even more. I wasn’t going to, but now in the interest of advocating for myself, I want to say something. I’m wondering if it would be better to
1. not say anything so A doesn’t get in trouble for discussing her wages,
2. cut my losses and quit, or
3. mention it and ask for a reason or another raise.
What would you do in this situation? Feel free to ask more questions below, I will answer them to the best of my ability.
