There is a guy I work with that is constantly bragging about how much time he spends at work. He boasts about it to anyone that will listen. He comes in by 6AM each morning and typically stays until 5PM, sometimes even working a Saturday. He brags about all of these meetings he is in and projects he is involved with but never has results to report out.
We are both salaried supervisors over 2 different development teams. Salaried here makes no OT. We both report to the same laid back manager. I work over if we have a pressing issue or project, but that is rare. I couldn't imagine being stoked about spending all these waking moments in the office. I think he is insecure and doesn't have much of a life outside of work, but man is he annoying with bragging about these large amount of hours.
Does anyone else have these people in your office?
