I work for a company called Conduent for three years, my roles are tech support and billing. While I do have some pretty good managers that has helped me during the worse of times, though even they pull the same bullshit I see posted in this subreddit. The company itself has become super stressful to work for and I have to follow metrics that are unreasonable. Since we're contracted to a popular tech company, the customers tend to range from abusive, racist, and just very entitled; I also juggle multiple job roles while having to learn about new products, protocols on what to say during a call which changes all the damn time, and no amount of abuse you take seems to be good enough. There always a “Better way you could say no” when you get a bad survey from a salty customer. They even switched to a system where if you call in or are late, it'll roll over after 12 months.
I get paid well enough, but my mental health has taken a dive even worse than before. I am fighting depression and nasty PTSD I've received from being racially profiled years ago. I can't see myself lasting any further, but I am on short on options. The healthcare is too expensive and I don't have my immediately family to lean on when I am dealing with emotional issues.(Leftists who aren't straight, cis, or what have you. You know where I am coming from).
So what's a place that pays relatively well or at least not minimum wage I could have a gander at? I don't know if it means anything, but I already have three years of experience at my job. But had it not been for my accommodations, which I believe should be normalized for everyone, I wouldn't have made it this far.
