My company is changing the policy to allow their QA to monitor our activity at home. Even if our mics are muted and we are not on a call, they can still hear background noise. I don’t know how this works and if anyone can shed some light, I’d appreciate it.
I’m thinking of getting tape to cover up the mic, or anything to plug up the mic holes.
I’m using a headset when taking calls and I always mute my mic but despite that they can still hear background noise.
