Anyone else get a significant increase in spam calls right after applying for jobs?

I started branching out a search for a new job following some moral disagreements with my current employer (Kroger corporate) and have noticed I am getting absolutely slammed with spam calls in the days after applying. It really feels like companies are selling my phone number to spam organizations because they know I'm in a position where I am more likely to answer calls from strangers as I wait to hear if I'm going to get an interview. Fuck everything
