Instead of feeling upset, I felt more relieved that this FAANG rejected me.
During the interview process with different people, I started to vibe it out and my gut instinct was telling me that the I don’t want to work with this team. A couple of people were really nice, while some were a bit uptight and one even hung up before I was able to say goodbye. I didn’t sense any diversity, very “cult-ish”, and all had different views on the company culture.
Overall, I’m grateful that I got to the final interview but even grateful that I will not be utilizing my experience on their area.
